Lib Technologies is dedicated to hands on board building and riding. We have spent a lifetime surfing, shaping and working with alternative high performance environmentally friendly materials and constructions. Traditional surf construction has always felt too fragile and the building process is toxic and unhealthy for the planet and crafts people... we knew there had to be a better way.

The Lib x Mayhem surf program is a special one for us, combining our mutual love for board building across both surf and snow, has been a treat. Matt Biolos’ high performance shapes and his world class dysfunctional progressive surfing program have always made …lost feel like board sports family… work hard, play hard, think outside the box, push the envelope, make a little noise, but mostly make toys. Matt has been at the top of the highly competitive world tour shaping world for decades with an amazing track record of success on both the men’s and women’s tours. At the same time, he has applied his unique skills as a precision shaper for world champions to designing boards for the world’s most entertaining and talented free-surfers. Matt combines all this design mastery and experience with a fi rm grasp of the everyday needs of a recreational surfer which allows him to create amazing shapes that elevate performance and fun levels for every level of surfer. He makes them rip we build them environmentally nicer, lighter and stronger!
