Skunk Ape II in 170 UW - I'm totally thrilled how this board rides!!!

I'm 6,3 (192cm) and 205lbs (93kg) with Mondosize 295 and use Mondo 31 shoes. I'm boarding for 25 years now and was riding a Nitro Atlas in 171 with an waist width of 270cm and had to use risers for the binding (Mondo 32 boots). Now with this Skunk Ape and the same boots I could leave out the risers and had a blast in the mountains. Compared to my old Nitro (bought it 20 years ago) this is such a playfull board with such a nice response and flex. It is a total different board feeling and everyone that is worried about this Board beeing too wide ..... don't worry and get the UW version in your length if you have big boots like I do ;-)

wow lib tech thank you.

I'm 6' 3" and weigh 280 lbs. With side 13W boots I got the 170UW. I feel like a kid again on a normal board. No tow or heel drag on this bad boy. Took it slow for my first few runs wasn't sure if the extra width would thro me off it didn't much, after about 4 runs I really started pushing it, this board can hold a edge even on ice. I have only took the board out once but I can already tell this is my go to carving/switch riding board now can't wait to try it out on some fresh pow. It really is the big guys dream board! THANKS LIB TECH

But don't let the size fool you, it's also incredibly agile and responsive. Plus, with its eco-friendly construction, you can shred with a clear conscience knowing you're not harming Mother Nature. I have had multiple skunk apes. In 6'1 230lbs. Always been big, strong rider. Like cranking on boards and pushing speed limits. This board is stiff. You don't notice it until u switch boards. You have to ride aggressive to use this board. It's not for weaklings....get something softer if you not into pushing it. It's a good all around preformer though.
